Known Issues
Carburetor Issues:
Potential for gummy or clogged carburetors if fuel is left sitting for extended periods; synchronization may be needed over time.
Rear Shock ABSorber:
The original rear shock can lose damping over time, especially with heavy use or touring loads. Re-valving or replacement may be considered.
Cam Chain Tensioner:
Some owners report the automatic cam chain tensioner can become noisy over time. Manual replacement or adjustment may be required. (Check manual for specific procedures).
