CPI is a Taiwanese manufacturer whose products have found particular success in Europe, where the brand became familiar through dealer networks in markets such as Spain and Germany. The company has concentrated on 50cc and 125cc machines, where running costs and ease of use matter most, building a range that mixes conventional scooters with sportier small-capacity designs. Light weight and modest running costs made them popular first vehicles.

Well-known models include the GTR scooter, the Oliver commuter and the distinctive Popcorn, alongside supermoto-styled 50s that appeal to riders still too young for larger motorcycles. Most machines use air-cooled or liquid-cooled two-stroke engines of Minarelli-pattern design or compact four-strokes, which keeps service simple and parts accessible.
