Massey Ferguson Repair Manuals

Massey Ferguson was formed in 1953 through the merger of Massey-Harris of Canada and Harry Ferguson Limited of the United Kingdom, creating one of the world's leading tractor and farm machinery companies. The Massey-Harris side traced its roots to an Ontario foundry opened in 1847, and the combined company sold its equipment around the globe from head offices in Toronto. Massey Ferguson tractors were assembled in plants around the world, and the company became a truly global name in agriculture.

Massey Ferguson is best known for tractors and implements, and model families such as the MF 35 and the MF 100 series became working staples on farms in many countries. In 1969 the company began producing a line of snowmobiles under the Ski Whiz name, applying its dealer network and engineering resources to the booming snowmobile market. The Ski Whiz line was discontinued in 1977 as sled sales declined. The company later faced financial difficulties and changed hands several times, but its name remained a familiar one on farms for decades.

Massey Ferguson workshop and service manuals document complete repair procedures for engines, transmissions and gearboxes, hydraulics and power take-off systems, steering and brakes, and electrical equipment, with wiring diagrams, torque specifications, diagnostics, and scheduled maintenance tables. Related manuals cover the Ski Whiz snowmobiles, including their two-stroke engines, drive clutches, and track and suspension systems.

Farm owners, agricultural mechanics, and collectors of vintage machinery all benefit from these references, and restorers of 1970s Ski Whiz sleds will find the documentation needed to bring their machines back to the trail. Because the brand has a long production history, these manuals also serve collectors restoring tractors from the 1950s through the 1970s.
