These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you access emanual.com or purchase products from eManual. By using the store, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Our service

eManual operates an online catalogue of downloadable workshop, service, repair and owner documentation. Products are digital unless a listing expressly states otherwise. Product pages form part of these Terms and describe the file, document type and stated coverage offered.

Eligibility and account information

You must be legally capable of entering a contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for providing accurate checkout and contact information, maintaining the security of your account credentials and notifying us of suspected unauthorised use.

Product selection

You are responsible for checking the make, model, year, engine, serial information, coverage and file format shown in the listing before purchase. Contact support before ordering if suitability is unclear. Vehicle and manufacturer names are used to identify compatibility and do not imply endorsement.

Orders, pricing and payment

Prices and available payment methods are shown at checkout. Taxes may be calculated based on the information supplied and applicable rules. We may reject or cancel an order affected by an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, legal restriction or inability to supply the product; if payment was taken, it will be returned.

Digital delivery

Access is provided electronically after successful payment and any required fraud review. You must provide a working email address and keep order information available. Delivery times can be affected by payment authorisation, email filtering or temporary technical issues. Contact us if access instructions do not arrive.

Licence and acceptable use

Unless a product page states otherwise, purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the downloaded material for your own lawful personal or internal business reference. You may not resell, republish, share publicly, upload, distribute or commercially exploit the file, remove rights notices, bypass access controls, scrape the store, interfere with security or use the service unlawfully.

Intellectual property

The eManual storefront, branding, design and original site content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Manuals, manufacturer marks and third-party material remain the property of their respective rights holders. If you believe material available through the store infringes your rights, follow our DMCA Policy or contact us with sufficient detail to investigate.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

Technical and safety disclaimer

Manuals are reference materials and may contain errors, omissions or procedures requiring specialist tools and training. Confirm that a document applies to the exact vehicle or machine and follow current manufacturer information, applicable regulations and safe working practices. Do not perform work beyond your competence; use a qualified professional where appropriate.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, suspend or withdraw features where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance or service improvement.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, eManual is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the store or a manual. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without limiting any mandatory protections available to consumers in their place of residence. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes.
