CPI is a Taiwanese manufacturer whose products have found particular success in Europe, where the brand became familiar through dealer networks in markets such as Spain and Germany. Light weight and modest running costs made them popular first vehicles.

Most machines use air-cooled or liquid-cooled two-stroke engines of Minarelli-pattern design or compact four-strokes, which keeps service simple and parts accessible.

Expect top-end and bottom-end engine work, clutch and CVT service, carburettor settings, brake and suspension procedures and complete wiring diagrams, supported by torque specifications and the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.
