Her Chee Industrial was founded in Tainan, Taiwan, in 1978 and built its business as a manufacturer of scooters and, later, all-terrain vehicles sold under the Adly name. The company also supplies complete machines and components to other brands, and the experience gained through these programmes shows in its own products, which use proven layouts throughout. Adly remains one of the longer-established Taiwanese names in its field.

The Adly range has focused on 50cc to 250cc scooters and a wide selection of youth and utility ATVs, products chosen by families, farmers and commuters for their simplicity and price. Machines are exported to Europe, the Americas and Asia, many were sold under other names in different markets, and service parts are generally accessible. Owners appreciate the simple, repairable design.

An Adly workshop manual covers these straightforward machines in full: air-cooled and liquid-cooled engine service, CVT transmission maintenance, carburettor or fuel-injection settings, suspension, brakes and steering, plus complete electrical wiring diagrams. Torque specifications, fluid capacities and scheduled maintenance tables are included for each model, along with fault-finding guidance.
