Linde Material Handling grew out of the engineering tradition of Carl von Linde's company and began building forklift trucks in the 1950s. Now headquartered in Aschaffenburg and part of the KION Group, one of the world's largest forklift producers, Linde supplies trucks and services through a global dealer network.

Linde is best known for the hydrostatic drive used in its counterbalance trucks, which replaces the torque converter with a variable hydraulic drive for smooth, precise control and fewer wearing parts. The range includes electric warehouse trucks, diesel and LP-gas trucks, reach trucks and tow tractors, all designed around ergonomic cabs and precise load handling.
